Cookie Policy

How Aezona uses cookies and similar technologies to power our platform and improve your experience.

Effective date: 12 May 2026

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners about how visitors use their site.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and session storage. This policy covers all such technologies collectively referred to as "cookies."

Aezona Cloud Solutions uses cookies strictly for the purposes described in this policy. We do not sell cookie data to third parties or use cookies for advertising profiling.

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for our platform to function. Without them, core features like authentication, session management, and security cannot operate. These cookies cannot be disabled because they are integral to the service.

Cookie NameProviderDurationPurpose

aezona-staff-authAezona12 hoursStaff portal authentication session (JWT). Signs in internal operators.

Functional Cookies

Functional cookies remember your preferences and personalisation choices to provide a more tailored experience. They are not strictly required for the platform to work, but they significantly improve usability.

Cookie NameProviderDurationPurpose
aezona-support-last-readAezona (localStorage)PersistentRecords when you last read each support case so unread reply badges stay accurate.
aezona-themeAezona (localStorage)PersistentStores your display preference if theme selection is introduced in a future release.

The two entries above are stored in localStorage (a browser-side storage mechanism), not as HTTP cookies. They never leave your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics Cookies

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our marketing website (aezona.com) in aggregate, so we can improve content and performance. Analytics cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

What we measure

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referral sources (e.g., search engines, social media links)
  • Device type, browser, and approximate geographic region (country-level)
  • Interaction events such as button clicks and form submissions (aggregated)

Our analytics approach

Where possible we prefer privacy-friendly, self-hosted, or cookieless analytics. If a third-party analytics provider requires cookies, this policy will be updated to disclose them specifically. At the time of this writing, our analytics stack does not set persistent tracking cookies.

Third-Party Cookies

Certain features of our platform rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies. Aezona Cloud Solutions does not control these cookies; they are governed by each provider's own privacy and cookie policies.

Vercel (hosting & edge network)

Our Next.js applications are deployed on Vercel. Vercel may set performance-related cookies for routing and edge caching. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.

LinkedIn (social embeds)

Pages that include LinkedIn follow widgets or share buttons may load LinkedIn scripts, which can set cookies according to LinkedIn's Cookie Policy. These are loaded only on pages where the widget appears.

Anthropic / Aevi AI

Our Aevi AI assistant calls the Anthropic API server-side. No Anthropic cookies are set in your browser; all AI calls originate from our servers, not your device.

Managing Cookies

You have full control over which cookies are stored in your browser. Below are your main options.

Browser settings

All modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings menu. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the platform.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Opt-out of analytics

If we introduce a third-party analytics service that supports opt-out, we will provide a dedicated opt-out mechanism. You can also install browser extensions such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger to block analytics scripts globally.

localStorage

localStorage entries set by Aezona can be cleared via your browser's developer tools: open DevTools → Application → Local Storage → select the domain → delete individual keys or clear all.

Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes we will:

  • Update the effective date at the top of this page
  • Post a notice on the platform for signed-in users where appropriate
  • Send an email notification for significant changes that affect your rights

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after the updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
